Our ‘Biotopoi’ nature park extends beyond our volunteering programme and an opportunity to visit our park, we also offer our premises to schools so that local children may benefit.
By using our knowledge and educational background we can compliment and support educators in offering an Experiential learning and development centre.
Our aims and objectives are to allow children a more vivid and ‘hands on’ experience, the opportunity to enjoy, learn from and appreciate out with of the classroom; as proposed by the Pedagogical institute.
The facilities we can offer removes the issues that schools are constrained by; limited space and equipment, time within the structured curriculum and the necessary tools needed.
School groups are welcomed and every care is taken in preparation before your visit.
Children can enjoy the park in a safe and yet structured form, our staff have backgrounds within the educational system and every activity is based on learning and is presented in a fun way, taking into consideration the individual needs of each child.
We want all children to enjoy the possibilities offered by the centre and therefore the cost is based on a sliding scale for fees, further information can be given as required.
The Experiential learning centre now operates within three sectors,
The environment, Sport and Culture.
We can offer;
Presentation of the centre for Experiential education.
Specialised environmental programmes 2016 for elementary schools.
Presentation of the park and its habitats and animals.
In winter months excursions for children’s ski lessons.
Brochures detailing the Sports centre, available sports activities, the cafe or pergola for dining, the Olympic trampoline etc.
We also run a summer children’s camp.
